For the first time in my life, I find myself so surprised, Stepping beyond familiar walls, Now, I’m out of my comfort zone. A whirlwind of feelings surrounds me— Happy, excited, confused, But sadness lingers too, Like a shadow that whispers, "Can you really belong here?"

Is it that I am unworthy of love’s embrace, Or does love itself find me beneath its grace? Is it not my heart but love that’s out of place, Because within, I dwell in an empty space?

I pour my heart into every connection, offering my best to those I believe deserve all the good things, yet often find these relationships fleeting and shallow, leaving me questioning if my generosity is truly valued.  As I give and give, I wonder if my worth is only tied to what I can offer others, not to what I receive in return. Am I deserving of the same care and affection I extend so freely, or am I meant to remain a giver without equal return, seeking solace in a world that seems to value my love only in the moment it is given?

Your duty’s done, the job is through, I’m left feeling drained and lost, with nothing to do. I try my best with all my might, But I’m stuck in the dark, out of sight. I’m pushing hard, but it feels in vain, Nothing seems to ease this strain. I’m giving my all, yet nothing can mend, Just a tired heart, with no way to pretend.

Stop expecting honesty from those who lie to themselves. In their reflections, fractured and false, the truth is a ghost, forever out of reach.

 Lies, and lies, and lies Then, falling love again, again, and again. No one can lie to me, no one.
