Lost, Yet Seeking

I keep blaming myself for everything, Every wrong turn, every broken string. Especially for those I hold so near, The ones I love, the ones I fear. Why can’t I be what they deserve? A steady hand, a calming nerve? Instead, I turn each day to worse, As if I’m living under some curse. Am I that broken, that far from grace? A shadow lost in every space? Can’t I bring joy, a little light, Or warmth to chase away the night? Even for myself, I strive to mend, To gather pieces, to ascend. Yet each time I fall apart once more, A soul adrift, washed to the shore. Now I stand at my lowest point, With fragile heart and aching joints. I can’t face it all on my own, But here I am—completely alone.

The Weight of Silence

After months of stitching pieces I thought were lost, Trying to rise, no matter the cost. Learning again to stand alone, An independent heart, a soul of stone. I’m trying to be better, softer, kind, Fighting shadows in my own mind, But in the quiet, the truth comes bare, No one’s really here, no one cares. I’m tired, worn, body and soul, Longing for warmth to make me whole. I need someone now, someone real, To share the weight of all I feel. Someone to talk to, about everything, nothing, Just a voice that makes the silence sing, To lift this ache, to ease the night, To make me feel, at least, alright.

Uncertain Yet True

Tonight, I cry for something unknown, love, or a fleeting feeling that’s grown yet deep within, it echoes deep, a truth that even silence keeps. These past two months have shifted time, a simple girl, in quiet rhyme. not one to fit your passions’ beat, or walk beside where your interests meet. Still, here I am, without a reason, loving you in this strange season. may happiness find you, soft and true, and love surround in all you do.

Undefined Us

The tangled path we walk, leaves me wanting to know more of you. Sometimes this feeling feels off-track, but with you, it feels so true. I can’t always find the words to say, just wanna seem calm and okay. All I know is I don’t want this to end, even if we’re not quite what they’d call “a trend.” I don’t know what name we’d give, this thing we share, this way we live, but knowing you—feels right, feels free. Thank you, truly, for just being  you  with me.

Unspoken Love

It sounds cliché, but this is what I feel now, I’m tired of denial, tired of the vow To keep my heart in quiet restraint, Tired of fighting, but I can't complain. It hurts—this silence I wear so well, Each unspoken word, a quiet hell. I know you don’t feel the same way, I know you look at others, while I stay In the shadows, just an ordinary face, Busy with friends, lost in life’s pace. I’m not unique, not someone who shines, Not the girl you’d notice between the lines. I know I’m not what you’d find intriguing, Just another soul, wandering, fleeting. And if you ever feel like a homebody yapper, You’re wrong—I see so much more than chatter. Haven’t you felt it in the way I look at you? You’re not ordinary—you’re someone true. You’re cool, amazing, with depths I admire, Talented, kind, with a quiet fire. You’re more than perfect, just being you, No need for change, no need for something new. I know I was quiet when we first met, It’s because I was nervous, not sure how to forget The...

Out Of My Comfort Zone

For the first time in my life, I find myself so surprised, Stepping beyond familiar walls, Now, I’m out of my comfort zone. A whirlwind of feelings surrounds me— Happy, excited, confused, But sadness lingers too, Like a shadow that whispers, "Can you really belong here?"
